Amaze is the peak body for people on the autism spectrum and their supporters in Victoria.

ENHANCE – Online Tools for parents of ASD Students | This initiative aims to enhance the education experience of school aged children and youth on the autism spectrum, by providing parents, carers and teachers with online tools and support to ensure their child has a high quality Individual Learning Plan (ILP) to meet their unique developmental needs. Grant Received: $50,000


Deakin University, School of Information Technology, Faculty of Science, Engineering and Built Environment, provides world-class research opportunities and the best in research training for students.

Information Oriented Fog Servers in National Parks | This project aims to develop Fog servers to provide an information oriented wireless communication platform for remote national parks, where cellular network is not available or unreliable. Parks Victoria can use this platform to offer local tourism information, emergency assistance, staff training, and better management of national parks. Grant Received: $50,000


Melbourne Symphony Orchestra was established in 1906, and is an arts leader and Australia’s oldest professional orchestra.

MSO Link –championing music education | MSO Link is a web-based learning platform supporting music education learning outcomes for young Victorians. Stage 1 will be research, consultation, and platform building, including leveraging content from MSOLearn (iphone App). Stage 2 will be a further creation of bespoke online content. Stage 3 will explore and develop of innovate new Digital Experience content. Grant Received: $50,000


Project Rockit is Australia’s youth-driven movement against bullying, hate and prejudice.

Youth-driven anti-bullying education for regional Victoria | PROJECT ROCKIT Online is a ground-breaking new digital curriculum that is designed to equip young people with the tools they need to keep safe at school and online. Consisting of three workshops that tackle (cyber) bullying, empathy and leadership, PROJECT ROCKIT adopts a positive, creative approach that has been tried and tested to great success over the last ten years. Grant Received: $50,000


Back to Back Theatre Inc. is based in the regional centre of Geelong, Back to Back Theatre is an outstanding Australian Theatre Company of national and international significance.

Back to Back Theatre: Accessible Performance Model | Back to Back Theatre seeks to increase the accessibility of its community and professional performances for Victorian audiences via of a state-of-the-art modular LED video and subtitling screen, plus the associated training. Grant Received: $15,000


Life Saving Victoria’s mission is to prevent aquatic related death and injury.

Emergency Care Education-VR Excursions-Pilot | This project is a pilot program to determine the feasibility of delivering first aid and emergency management education to regional and rural Victorian schools through 'virtual reality' technology. The project provides an exciting opportunity to utilise online platforms and innovative VR technology to deliver an 'all emergencies, all communities' approach to safety education. Grant Received: $50,000


Phillip Island Nature Park Board Of Management Inc is located only 90 minutes from Melbourne, Philip Island Nature Park offers a range of ecotourism experiences across four major parks.

Counting Seals with UAVs to assess Bass Strait | This project will improve understanding of marine ecosystem status and changes by using Unpiloted Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) to significantly enhance effectiveness and scale of seal surveys in Victoria. Up to 1,000 volunteers, including Victorian schools will assist with image analysis and information will be shared via an interactive online portal. Grant Received: $43,460


Smiling Mind is a not-for-profit organisation that works to make mindfulness meditation accessible to all.

Mindful States | This project takes Smiling Mind’s existing face-to-face teacher training model and provides a cost-effective means to deliver this training remotely, via interactive online teacher training resources incorporating webinar and group discussion forum functionality. Grant Received: $50,000
