Prof. Adolph M. Hanich, BE, FDipM. Grad.Dip.Psych.


Prof. Hanich was appointed on 16 December 1988. He is currently working as a psychotherapist and is an adjunct Professor of Strategy at the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship at Swinburne University of Technology and was previously the founding Director of that School. Before that he was the chief executive of Fairhaven Associates Pty. Limited and before that he was a senior partner with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Prof. Hanich has had various senior positions with a number of organisations, including: Rentokil Group Limited; Freighter Industries Limited; Plessey Pacific Group; and ICI Australia Limited.

Mr. Martyn Myer, BEng, MEngSc, MScM (MIT)

Mr. Myer was appointed on 8 March 1995. He spent 12 years involved in marketing and product development with advanced technological manufacturing companies. From 1994 until June 2002, he was involved in funds management as Managing Director of Merlyn Asset Management. He is Chairman of CogState Limited, Member of the Boards of Coles Myer Ltd (retired November 2006), DUI Ltd, SPAusnet Group and The Myer Foundation, and President of the Howard Florey Institute at Melbourne University.

Mrs. Sujatha Pannell B.A. (Hons), Dip. Ed.


Mrs. Pannell was appointed on 4 June 1998. She is a Senior Manager with the National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN). Prior to that she had been General Manager of the Education Trust Victoria Ltd., which is a company established to build partnership between business, the community and government schools. She was previously a Senior Policy Officer in the Multimedia & Cross-Sectoral Programs Branch of the Office of the Secretary in the Department of Education. She has been a teacher, worked on curriculum development at the Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Board and the Board of Studies and was a member of the Education Network Australia (EdNA) Marketing Group.
